Having worked with clients, both individuals and corporations, in more than 30 countries Servaas has combined his consultancy and training expertise to develop senior managers in many large multinational organisations. He also practices as a psychotherapist and supervisor and is an experienced university lecturer, high school counsellor, teacher and manager, and corporate trainer, coach and consultant.

Servaas was a founding member of various professional associations in Europe: the Dutch Association for School Counsellors, European Association for Supervision, and Group Relations Nederland, an association for the study of unconscious group process in organisations. He has been the driving force in forming ASCCANZ, the Association for Supervision, Coaching and Consultancy in Australia and New Zealand: www.asccanz.org. He has held the office of president in the following organisations: EATA (1992-93), ITAA (1994-95), European Association for Supervision (1996-2000, ASCCANZ (2002-present).

Living in the Netherlands and working mainly in Europe until 1999 Servaas has since moved to Australia. He now lives in Sydney.
