Study Three - Training
This
client is one of Australia's largest tourism organisations.
A
major shift in branding led to the challenge of acquiring, marketing and distributing visual imagery and artwork that reflected and communicated the new brand position. The key to success was to implement and manage a change management process encouraging staff to accept and use a new web-based, e-commerce solution.
Consulting
with management and team specialists we conducted analyses
and proposed viable solutions using browser-based software.
By
actively involving staff at each stage of the process
we encouraged them to share their concerns and skepticisms. Training
emerged as a critical issue. A
phased training program covering the features and
capabilities
of the web-based solution was implemented within the required
time frame and budget.
The results were outstanding. Staff were freed from repetitive administrative tasks, productivity increased, and cost-effective brand communication was effected.
